Your inputs

Text and calculation inputs are processed in your browser. The tool does not send those inputs to our server. Download buttons create files on your device. Copy buttons use your device’s clipboard after you request them.

Optional draft storage

The Remember my draft option is off by default. Enabling it stores your text in local storage in this browser profile. Disabling it removes the saved draft. Other users of your device or browser profile may be able to access a saved draft. Browser extensions, clipboard managers and operating-system tools are outside our control.

Hosting and access information

The hosting provider necessarily receives connection information such as an IP address, browser request and requested page when serving this site. Hosting security and operational logs may be processed by the provider. Do not treat browser-local calculations as a guarantee that no connection information is processed when visiting a website.

Advertising and analytics

No advertising or analytics script is currently enabled on this site. A public AdSense account identifier and ads.txt entry identify the intended advertising seller; they do not themselves show ads. Before advertising is enabled, this notice will be updated to describe the applicable Google services and any consent choices. There are no ad-consent claims based on an unverified configuration.

Contact and requests

If you email support@charactercounterhq.online, we receive the contents of your message and the contact information you send, to respond to your request. Do not email confidential drafts, passwords or financial details. You may ask for deletion of correspondence, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

External sites have their own privacy practices. This page may be updated when the site’s features or advertising status changes. Check the effective date and this page for the current description.
